Medipol Mega University Hospital (Bağcılar Campus)

Medipol University Hospital in Bagcilar, where students receive practical lessons and internship training, stands out with its central location and a giant training complex.

Medipol University Hospital, which includes 4 hospitals as General, Oncology, Cardiovascular Surgery, and Dental Hospital, offers practical training to Medipol students with its 470-bed capacity, 133 intensive care units, 246 polyclinic rooms, and 25 operating rooms.

Kavacik Campus

Medipol University has 2 campuses in Beykoz Kavacık, South and North. Kavacık Campuses, located on the Anatolian side of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, just outside the bridge, draw attention to their central location adjacent to the Beykoz Forests.

Golden Horn Campus

Catering services at the Kavacık, Haliç and Bağcılar Campuses of Istanbul Medipol University are provided by a private catering company. Kavacık Campus, where boys' and girls' dormitories are located, offers 3 meals a day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal service is applied by self-service and the a la carte method. At the same time, there are many cafes, canteens and buffets at the Kavacık, Haliç and Bağcılar Campuses of Istanbul Medipol University. Different tastes from Turkish and world cuisine, beverage varieties, and breakfasts are offered in canteens and buffets. Polin cafes, located in Kavacık North-South and Bağcılar Campuses, are places where students have a pleasant time with their stylish and modern architecture as well as their delicious presentations. Accommodation / Cost of living

In the dormitories, students are provided with 3 meals a day. Meals are open buffet breakfast, optional menu, and salad bar. The cost of meals in the dormitories belongs to the students. Pricing is calculated over the created menu.

Cleaning service in the dormitories belongs to a professional company. Rooms, bathrooms, WCs, corridors are cleaned every day by the expert team. Each student is provided with bed linen, blankets, and pillows and is changed by the cleaning staff every 15 days. We have laundry and ironing services available. The laundry fee per machine in the dormitories belongs to the student.

Students who want to rent a house instead of a dormitory can easily reach the campus from various districts of Istanbul. Istanbul is a city where every student wants to live with its historical nature and cultural activities. For this reason, the shared home option has always been one of the students' preferences, apart from the comfort of the dormitory.

Ways to Study Abroad

Medipol University students can benefit from Mevlana and Erasmus exchange programs. Let's take a closer look at these programs.

Erasmus

Erasmus Exchange Program is a European Union project coordinated and financed by the National Agency of the Ministry of European Union in Turkey, encouraging the cooperation of higher education institutions and students and academics to gain experience in different countries and universities within the framework of this cooperation for a short time.

Within the scope of the Erasmus program learning mobility, students can complete one or two semesters of the academic year and at least 2 months within the scope of internship mobility in another higher education institution or business with which an agreement is reached.

The main feature of the program is that students do not pay extra tuition fees to the university they will attend. Students can also apply for an Erasmus grant to help with the extra cost of living abroad.

Istanbul Medipol University was accepted into the Erasmus University Charter in 2012. The University continues to form bilateral agreements with various European Higher Education Institutions since 2012.

Mevlana

Mevlana Exchange Program is a program that aims to exchange students and teaching staff between higher education institutions providing education in the country and higher education institutions providing education abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 23, 2011, and numbered 28034, the way for the exchange of students and lecturers between higher education institutions abroad and higher education institutions in Turkey has been paved.

Students who want to participate in the exchange program for at least one, at most two semesters of education; lecturers can benefit from the program to teach in higher education institutions around the world for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 3 months. Similarly, students and lecturers from all parts of the world can come to higher education institutions in Turkey within the scope of the program and participate in educational activities.
