The British Columbia Institute of Technology is an educational institution in Vancouver, the capital city of British Columbia, that has been training experts, professionals and innovators to shape the economy since 1964. Campuses

Burnaby Campus

BCIT main Campus is located on Willingdon Street in Burnaby City, next to Moscrop Secondary School and Deer Lake. It includes a library, gym and sports court, conference rooms, computer labs, and student services and administration offices. There is a Center for Applied Research and Innovation. Most of their full-time programs for the Faculty of Construction and Commerce, the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Engineering are located on this campus.

Aviation and Space Technologies Campus

The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Aerospace Technology Campus is located near the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. It offers aircraft maintenance engineering programs in aviation, maintenance, structures, aircraft gas turbine, overhaul training and repair, and aircraft mechanical component training programs.

In addition to commercial pilot training, BCIT also offers an airport operations training program for those wishing to pursue a career in airport management. Training takes place on the 285,000 square meter Aerospace Technology Campus, which opened in September 2007.

The RBC Foundation Aviation Library on the Aviation Technology Campus has one of the largest collections of aviation resources in Western Canada and has become a learning and study hub for aviation students, staff and the wider aviation industry in the region.

Marine Campus

Formerly known as the Pacific Maritime Training Institute, it is now referred to as the BCIT Naval Campus. The Institute offers a variety of maritime courses, including student programs such as a four-year diploma in Marine Science and a Marine Engineer training program. The campus is located on the water in North Vancouver, a short distance from Lonsdale Quay. The school is open all year, except for major holidays.

Downtown Vancouver Campus

The predominant fields of study on the downtown campus are business, media, computing, information and international student entry programs. It has been opened to allow a greater number of students in part-time studies.

Annacis Island Campus

Located on Annacis Island in Delta City, this 142,000-square-foot facility is home to motivating strength programs offered by BCIT and Vancouver Community College. Programs at the Annacis Island Campus train heavy-duty mechanics, transport trailer mechanics, diesel mechanics, commercial transport mechanics, railroad conductors, and forklift operators.
