The University of Westminster

The University of Westminster was the first polytechnic university in England, founded in 1838 to train London staff. Currently, the university serves with approximately 19,000 students. There are about 169 students from different nationalities studying in the huge campus. The university, which has developed in this process, now has 183 partners in the business world. The purpose of the university is to provide a continuous-holistic education with broad horizons and opportunities. Admission and Application Requirements

For Undergraduate Departments:

Apart from the specified entrance scores, there are also specified scores for some departments. During the process, our consultant will tell you whether there are any special required scores for the department you have chosen. General score requirements:

Your high school diploma grade must have a minimum GPA of 3.2/5.0 to 4.2/5.0 or 60%–70%, high school diploma from a UK recognized school or A level or international diploma graduate is a plus.

For Graduate and Post Graduate Departments:

Your undergraduate diploma grade should be from 2.7/4.0 to 3.0/4.0.

IELTS Academic; a minimum of 5.5 points in each section, a total of 6.0 points, TOEFL; listening and writing at least 17, reading at least 18 and speaking at least 20, with a score of 80, PTE Academic; at least 51 points from each section, 54 points in total, CAE; C1 Advanced 162 points in each section, 169 points in total, CPE; C2 Proficiency 162 points in each section, 169 points in total, GCSE; Grade C or higher, international diploma; Grade 5 higher or standard level A1 or A2 English, Grade 6 higher level B1 English

Accommodation

The university has 4 dormitories.

Harrow Hall: Open to university, graduate, and international students. The dormitory is divided into several blocks. Each block has its own door, lobby, and single en-suite rooms. There is also a block with double rooms. Rents range from £130 to £250 per week depending on the room type you choose.

Marylebone Hall: It is a 21-story building located in Marylebone. The university is open to postgraduate and foreign students. There are 12 premier rooms, 12 loft rooms, 188 standard rooms and 10 shared rooms in the dormitory. The kitchens are shared by 6 people, the rooms are en-suite and furnished. Premier rooms are on the 20th Floor and have a magnificent view. The equipment in these rooms is more luxurious than the other rooms. Rents range from £185 to £275 per week depending on the room type you choose.

Alexander Fleming Hall: Located on the edge of the Square Mile in Hoxton. It is within walking distance of St Paul's Cathedral. The university is open to postgraduate and foreign students. The dormitory is in 3 separate blocks. Each block has its own door and lobby. Each unit has 4, 7 or 8 single rooms. Rents average £185 per week.

Raffles House is not open to students from abroad.
