Admission and Application Requirements

For Undergraduate Departments:

-        High school transcript and graduation certificate-Both in your local language and English (if you apply before graduating from high school, it is sufficient to submit your transcript in English as well)

-         Purpose/Motivation letter

-        Exam result showing your international level of English - IELTS must have a minimum score of 6.5 (Exam result should not exceed 2 years) / TOEFL must have a minimum score of 86 (Minimum 20 points from each section, Exam result must not exceed 2 years)

For Graduate and Post Graduate Departments:

Accommodation

The University of Alberta offers dormitory accommodation and shared student housing for international students. There are multiple accommodation centers designed for both undergraduate and graduate students. For undergraduate students to spend the first year of school more easily and to adapt to the region and the school more easily, dormitories located within the school are generally preferred. All accommodation types are located near the school. Accommodation prices in shared student houses vary between $4,000-8,000 per year, while in dormitories, it varies between $6,000-15,000 depending on the dormitory and room chosen.
